Audit Assistant Manager
Job Overview
Our client is currently seeking to hire a fully qualified accountant with a strong commitment to a professional career for the position of Audit Assistant Manager, responsible for leading the firm’s Audit Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years’ experience in an audit environment. The selected individual will manage a portfolio of clients and report directly to the manager or director in charge. A strong command of written and spoken English is essential.
Qualifications
- A University of Malta graduate (Honours or Master’s in Accountancy), or holder of an ACCA qualification, or equivalent.
Duties
- Planning the work of the Audit Department in collaboration with managers, partners, and other departmental leads.
- Reviewing the work carried out by subordinates.
- Reviewing financial statements, assessing accounts for accuracy and completeness, and reporting on findings.
- Drafting audited financial statements.
- Attending and participating in client meetings.

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Capability to perform under pressure.
- Solid understanding of GAPSME and IFRS.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
