Position: Shift Team Lead
Location: Kotka
Duration: 3 years (Project-based; To assist with the production launch)
Working hours: 37,5 per week
About Easpring Finland New Materials Oy:
Easpring Finland is developing a battery materials plant in Kotka, to respond to the rising demand for battery materials in Europe. The plant will produce cathode active material, which is needed to manufacture batteries for electric vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee production organization and management, supervising the entire production process. Allocate human, equipment, and material resources reasonably in strict accordance with plans and requirements to ensure production schedules are met.
Manage on-site operations, identify issues, and organize corrective actions. Inspect whether personnel at each post perform production tasks as required, ensuring on-site quality compliance.
Handle personnel management, including work shift arrangements, staff training, and communication, to maintain a stable and effective workshop team.
Ensure safe production during the shift, monitor equipment operation status, and oversee the progress of equipment abnormality handling.
Manage workshop costs, control energy consumption, and reduce waste of materials and energy.
Coordinate cooperation among various departments to ensure smooth implementation of production plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
At least two years of production management experience in the battery materials industry, preferably in the cathode active material (CAM) production.
Deep knowledge and understanding of the CAM production processes.
Participation experience in production launch / scale up is considered a plus.
Fluency in Chinese and English is required for reading equipment specifications and instructions, as well as quick coordination with the project team.
Other knowledge and skills required: Basic knowledge of production site management, daily production statistics, and cost accounting.
Shift Team Leader is eligible for a special bonus incentive on top of the monthly salary paid at the end of each month, subject to KPI performance.
