A+ Content Specialist / Merchandiser
Job Overview
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
● Group products into variations/bundles across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Shopify.
● Conduct A/B testing on Amazon (titles, main images, and other key elements) to improve CTR and conversion.
● Oversee and maintain A+ content on Amazon (manage creative input and ensure content elevates listings).
● Audit product listings regularly to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization for search visibility.
● Adjust categories and browse nodes on Amazon to improve traffic and product discoverability.
● Manage Amazon and Target promotions, ensuring discounts and deals are set up correctly and aligned with marketing campaigns.
● Monitor new product launches, collaborating with the marketing team to ensure smooth rollout and visibility.
● Manage Shopify search synonyms to improve search accuracy and flag opportunities to admin team for better visibility.
● Assist in website merchandising, including banner management and product placement, as time allows.
● Report on merchandising KPIs (conversion rates, CTR, promotional lift, search visibility, etc.) and recommend improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience with Amazon product listing optimization and marketplace merchandising.
● Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and marketplace tools.
● Proven success in improving product visibility and conversion through listing optimization and testing.
● Eye for detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies, errors, or opportunities for improvement.
● Solid understanding of e-commerce merchandising principles and how they affect customer behavior.
● Strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple listings, promotions, and campaigns simultaneously.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills across marketing, design, and operations teams.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
● Experience with Shopify merchandising tools, including search optimization and on-site promotions.
● Familiarity with Target Plus, Walmart Seller Center, and multi-channel optimization.
● Hands-on experience with Amazon A+ content creation or liaising with creative teams/agencies.
● Understanding of Amazon Brand Registry and brand store optimization.
● Experience with reporting and analytics tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, ChannelAdvisor, or similar).
● Background in consumer products, toys, or collectibles merchandising.
● Experience with site merchandising (banners, homepage updates, seasonal refreshes).
