WSP has a new opportunity for an internship in the position of Environmental Engineer/Scientist, which will be part of our Soil & Groundwater / Remediation teams, at the Turin office.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

The position we are seeking to fill involves supporting the management of remediation activities in accordance with Legislative Decree 152/2006. The ideal candidate holds a second-level degree or a master’s degree in environmental disciplines or equivalent fields.

A thorough knowledge of the following tools is required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat.

Duration of the internship contract: 6 months

A possible subsequent employment in the company after the internship will be gladly considered.

The training program includes support in:

• Managing data related to water, soil, and gas investigations
• Reporting
• Organizing and supervising field activities
• Supporting project management in the characterization and remediation of contaminated sites

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

• Degree in environmental engineering / geology / environmental sciences
• Basic knowledge of activities related to contaminated site remediation projects
• Knowledge of main IT tools
• Basic oral and written communication skills in technical fields
• Good knowledge of English
• Accuracy in work

• Ability to work in a team
• Compliance with safety regulations

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

1. Telephone interview: We'll start with a telephone interview to get to know you better and discuss your experience.
2. HR/Manager Interview: You will meet with our TA team and the department manager to assess your technical and cultural skills.
3. Interview with the Business Unit Director: A meeting with the Business Unit Director to discuss your potential role and our strategic vision.
