Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the accounting (GL) team
Act as a people manager for the entire team
Act as a subject matter expert in all related topics in accounting
Act as an escalation point in case of accounting activities
Deliver complex, group level analysis
Review of journal entries
Review the KDN's income statement and balance sheet, including monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
Ensure quality of accounting to ensure compliance with KDN Finance Principles and Policies and accuracy in all financial reporting is maintained
Review intercompany reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis
Assist in preparation of annual financial statements as necessary
Review the work of junior and senior members of the team
Understand complex issues into actionable items for other team members
Delegates tasks, issues related to team scope
Work with service providers on enhancing finance and accounting systems and implementing new functionalities and reports
Review the preparation of working papers and any additional information for the interim and annual audit
Support interim and annual statutory and internal audits of all KDN entities
As needed assist in the set-up of the financial reporting for new entities including the set-up and testing of new month end reconciliations and closing entries
Ensure quality and consistency in financial reporting
Coordinate the period end closures with other teams
Other ad hoc and special projects as assigned from time to time
Driving continuous improvement and process optimization in all areas of KDN Finance

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting
CPA or other comparable accounting qualification
7+ years of progressive experience in RTR field (GL, controlling, audit, FP&A)
At least 2 years of team coordination experience including evaluation of team members
Knowledge in IFRS
Confident, clear English communication (written and verbal).
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong collaboration and communication skills
