We are looking for a Project Director who will lead and oversee large-scale marine infrastructure projects across international locations. The role is not limited to a single project and may involve deployment across different regions depending on project needs.
You are responsible for the full lifecycle of projects — from execution planning and resource coordination to delivery and final completion. You ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements.

Your Contribution
• Lead and coordinate the execution of large marine projects or multiple smaller projects to ensure successful delivery within defined safety, quality, time, and budget constraints
• Take full ownership of project performance, including profit and loss (P&L) responsibility
• Supervise and support project managers and departmental teams, providing coaching and guidance
• Define and implement the project organization structure and processes in line with company standards
• Coordinate activities across different disciplines and departments involved in the project
• Ensure timely availability and quality of engineering and execution documentation
• Manage subcontracting and procurement processes, including negotiation and contract finalization
• Oversee contractual and financial follow-up, including budget control and cost monitoring
• Validate technical, financial, and scheduling decisions related to project execution
• Review and approve project-related commitments and engagements
• Ensure effective coordination with clients, consultants, authorities, and third parties
• Participate in commercial discussions, tenders, and contract negotiations when required
• Implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards and Quality Assurance and Control procedures
• Oversee technical preparation, on-site execution, and plant and equipment management
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure efficient project delivery
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and support external representation activities
Your Profile
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coaching project managers
• Advanced understanding of contract management and project governance
• Solid knowledge of marine construction techniques and project execution methodologies
• Strong organizational and process management capabilities
• Ability to analyze complex situations, define solutions, and implement effective strategies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong negotiation skills in complex and international environments
• Commercially driven with a results-oriented mindset
• High level of flexibility and adaptability in dynamic project environments
• Fluent in English; knowledge of an additional European language such as French or Dutch is considered an asset
• Willingness to relocate depending on project requirements
