Your Tasks
- Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, technical submittals, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Support planning, scheduling, and progress reporting in alignment with construction activities.
- Assist in resolving technical issues arising on site, liaising with senior engineers as required.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and aligned with quality and safety standards.
- Contribute to design coordination meetings and provide technical input to the construction team.
- Monitor material approvals, procurement schedules, and technical correspondences.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
- 5–8 years of proven experience as a Technical Office Engineer on large-scale civil or marine projects.
- Familiarity with marine works (jetty, quay wall, offshore facilities) is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in project management and engineering software (AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate between office and site teams.
- Willingness to work on site in Mozambique on a rotation schedule (6 weeks on / 3 weeks off).
