We are looking for a Senior Manager – Structural Design who will lead and coordinate structural engineering activities across complex infrastructure and building projects.
You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle — from tender and early contractor involvement (ECI) to detailed engineering and project execution. The role supports multiple projects and requires close alignment between design, construction methods, and project delivery requirements.

Your Contribution
• Lead and manage structural engineering teams, including internal engineers and external consultants
• Oversee structural design activities across tender, ECI, and project execution phases
• Define structural design strategies to ensure safety, constructability, and cost efficiency
• Review structural calculations, models, and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards
• Coordinate closely with methods, tender, and site teams to integrate construction sequencing and temporary works into structural design
• Provide technical input during tender phases, including quantities, design schedules, consultant scopes, and risk assessments
• Support value engineering initiatives by identifying optimization opportunities in design and execution
• Monitor engineering progress, allocate resources, and manage engineering budgets
• Ensure design deliverables are completed within defined timelines and cost targets
• Identify and manage technical risks, implementing mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical and design-related challenges
• Provide technical guidance to site teams to support safe and efficient project execution
• Establish and maintain the structural knowledge base, tools, and documentation within the department
• Mentor and develop structural engineers, supporting continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Maintain coordination with consultants and external stakeholders throughout project development
Your Profile
• More than 20 years of experience in structural engineering within construction or engineering environments
• Proven experience in the analysis and design of complex concrete and steel structures, including permanent and temporary works
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and modelling software
• Solid knowledge of international design codes and standards (Eurocodes, ACI, BS or equivalent)
• Experience working on Design & Build (D&B) projects with close coordination between design and site teams
• Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams, consultants, and site personnel
