We are looking for a Bid Manager who will lead and coordinate the full tendering process for multidisciplinary water treatment projects.
You will be involved throughout the entire bid lifecycle — from prequalification and tender preparation to contract negotiation and signature. In this role, you ensure that all technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of the tender process are effectively coordinated and aligned with the overall project strategy.
In this multidisciplinary role, you coordinate the preparation of complex bids involving process engineering, environmental studies, design, costing, and risk management, ensuring high-quality and competitive tender submissions within defined timelines and budgets.

Your Contribution
- Manage and coordinate the complete bid lifecycle from prequalification to contract signature
- Review and analyze tender documentation including technical, contractual, and commercial requirements
- Define the overall bid strategy in collaboration with the management team
- Develop partnering and subcontracting strategies for each tender opportunity
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams involved in bid preparation, including process engineering, environmental assessment, BIM/CAD design, costing, legal, insurance, and risk management
- Define and manage the bid planning and associated budget
- Establish scope division and responsibility matrices between partners and subcontractors
- Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions
- Ensure consistency between technical solutions, execution strategy, cost estimation, and contractual conditions
- Monitor bid progress and ensure deliverables are completed according to planning
- Participate in clarification meetings and support contract negotiations when required
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 8 years of combined experience in tendering and project execution within water or wastewater treatment projects in municipal or industrial sectors
- At least 3 years of experience in a tender management or bid management role
- Good understanding of the design and build project lifecycle for water or wastewater treatment facilities
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams during complex tender processes
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- International project exposure is considered an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally for international assignments
- Fluent in English, Dutch, and French
