LOCATION: Ft. Meade, Maryland
DESCRIPTION of RECRUITMENT ROLE:
Federal Government Contracting and recruitment experience, responsible for identifying, attracting suitable security cleared candidates for open job positions and assessing their relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experienced recruitment support within an Intelligence Agency customer base is preferred.
The responsibilities of a recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and adhering to department level required documentation.
A successful recruiter has excellent interpersonal skills, is organized and detail-oriented ~ assessing candidates' skills, experience, and relevant knowledge and compare, even map them to job requirements / openings.
Recruiter Responsibilities:
• Conduct proactive recruitment activities and identify “active” applicants and “passive” candidates.
• Follow ATS (Applicant Tracking System) protocols
• Identify future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications. (Even enhancing existing job requisitions!)
• Promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as the best employment opportunity.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership to compile a consistent list of requirements.
• Attract suitable and qualified candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
• Conduct interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
• Ensures a positive candidate experience and alignment with company growth goals.
• Follow the staffing department's protocols & documentation processes when assessing applicants.
• Provide continuous monitoring and recruiting updates on the staffing report. (shared drive access)
• Participate and maintain presence/involvement during required weekly "staffing team meeting with Leadership levels"
• Participate and maintain presence/involvement during any “staffing team tag-up sessions and/or follow-up meeting(s) with Staffing Manager / HR Operations level(s)”.
• While this position incorporates a telework-working remotely features, it is expected that you make yourself available to answer your telephone line and/or concall’s (at times with live video capture).
• Engagement and remaining accessible to candidates and/or Senior Leadership levels, especially during the business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. (Continuously missed outreach shall be monitored.)
• Submission of candidates, and aiming for a 1 (one) hire per month is the target goal.
Recruiter Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or additional work experience in lieu of a degree
• This position requires a residential base location with an approx. 20+ miles radius of Ft. Meade, Maryland
• Experience with recruitment processes and databases procedures.
• Adherence to ATS
• The ability to conduct and schedule different types of interviews.
• Excellent communication skills.
