Job Title: Personal Support Worker Clinical Supervisor

Location: On-site, at a Nursing Home- Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village (413 Linwell Rd, St. Catharines, ON, L2M 7Y2)

Hours: Part-time, varied days/hours between Monday to Friday, either 6:00 am -2:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Flexibility required.

Start Date: Immediate

Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr

The Opportunity:

The PSW Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision and mentoring for students completing their Clinical Placement in the classroom/workplace setting in order for students to gain experience in a wider range of Personal Support Worker skills.

The PSW Clinical Supervisor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

What you bring to the role:

• Must be a Personal Support Worker with a college NACC certificate OR Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum of two (2) years of current, relevant work experience in a healthcare environment - preferably in a long-term/chronic care setting or with a community care agency.
• Previous teaching experience is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including supervision, motivation, and facilitation are preferred.
• Superior communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.
• Travel is required for community placement.
