Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Location: Houston, Texas (5 Days Onsite) – Local/nearby candidates required

Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension or Convert to Hire / CTH)

Employment Type: W2 Contract (no C2C mentioned in most postings)

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Technology, or related field

8+ years of software engineering experience across full SDLC

Proficiency in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, core algorithms

Experience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environments

Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging (e.g., JMS)

Strong DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, application security

Excellent communication for technical/non-technical audiences

Track record in collaborative, cross-functional teams

Awareness of industry trends/best practices
