The Role
CASETiFY is looking for a visionary General Manager for Greater China to act as the primary architect of our growth across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. As a brand that sits at the intersection of tech, fashion, and self-expression, we need a leader who can bridge the gap between our global "soul" and the world’s most sophisticated retail ecosystem.
You will be responsible for scaling a high-growth P&L, navigating complex cultural landscapes, and ensuring CASETiFY dominates both the digital and physical touchpoints of the Chinese consumer.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Regional P&L Management
- Regional P&L Ownership & Profitability: Lead the comprehensive P&L for Mainland China, HK, and Taiwan. Drive aggressive expansion with a primary focus on scaling the Mainland market while implementing rigorous financial strategies to maximize bottom-line profitability.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Develop data-driven strategies to systematically drive new customer acquisition and enhance repeat purchase behavior. Analyze local consumer trends and IP opportunities to deepen brand loyalty and maximize lifetime value.
- Operational Excellence & Scalability: Establish robust, logic-driven processes and systematic "guardrails" to ensure the business scales efficiently. By streamlining workflows and institutionalizing best practices, you will maintain brand integrity while supporting rapid regional growth.
- Regulatory & Ethical Navigation: Protect the brand's reputation and long-term viability by ensuring full compliance with local content regulations and legal frameworks through structured oversight.
2. The Global-Local Bridge
- HQ Influence: Act as a key strategic partner to the Global COO, using data-backed insights to influence global product roadmaps and sustainability initiatives (Re/CASETiFY).
- Operational Agility: Modify global corporate processes to match the "China Speed" required for e-commerce and retail without sacrificing quality.
3. Omni-channel Mastery
- E-commerce & Social Commerce: Drive aggressive growth across Tmall, JD.com, RED, Douyin and any relevant marketplace platforms, leveraging live-streaming and social commerce as core pillars.
- Retail Excellence: Define the roadmap for our physical "CASETiFY Studios," ensuring every store is profitable & scalable and is an immersive brand experience.
4. Leadership & People
- High-Performance Culture: Lead and mentor an established organization of 100+ staff, fostering a culture of innovation, grit, and accountability.
- Senior Management: Understand local business dynamics, ensure seamless partnership with headquarters, lead multi-functional leadership team across Marketing, Retail, Operations, and Finance to execute strategic decisions
The Ideal Candidate
- Market Veteran: 15+ years of experience, with deep roots in the Mainland China retail and digital landscape. Experience in HK/TW is a strong plus.
- Financial Heavyweight: Proven track record managing a P&L of USD 100M+, with a history of delivering exponential revenue growth.
- E-commerce Expert: Expert-level knowledge of the China marketplace ecosystem (Tmall, TikTok/Douyin, Little Red Book, etc).
- Strategic & Hands-on Leadership: Demonstrated ability to toggle between high-level strategic planning and "scrappy," hands-on execution.
- High-Velocity Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, maintaining a balance between long-term vision and immediate tactical needs.
- Agile Problem-Solving: Combines a macro perspective with a micro-attention to detail to drive results in high-pressure settings.
- Linguistic & Cultural Fluency: Native-level Mandarin and professional English are essential for aligning a remote global HQ with a local powerhouse team.
