Role Overview
CBTS is seeking a dynamic and strategic Services Delivery Executive (SDE) to elevate our Application Development (App Dev) practice from tactical staff augmentation to outcome-driven solution delivery. This role is critical to embedding technical leadership earlier in the sales cycle, co-creating solution roadmaps with clients, and driving high-margin, multi-tower engagements. The SDE will serve as a bridge between pre-sales, delivery, and client stakeholders—ensuring readiness, alignment, and execution excellence across offshore and hybrid delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Engagement & Road mapping
- Co-develop solution roadmaps with pre-sales engineers and client stakeholders
- Influence architecture decisions and delivery models before staffing begins
- Position CBTS as a strategic partner in App Dev conversations
- Analyze current staff augmentation engagements to understand resource roles, deliverables, and business impact.
- Develop customized transformation strategies for each account in collaboration with Sales and Delivery teams.
- Identify opportunities to introduce offshore CoE, PS, or SoW-based models to improve margins and reduce risk while accelerating delivery outcomes for our customers.
- Delivery Model Design & Execution
- Define offshore, nearshore, and hybrid delivery constructs tailored to client needs
- Align delivery architecture and staffing plans to outcome-based KPIs
- Work closely with Sales to position diversified delivery models during client engagements.
- Co-create proposals and pitch strategies that highlight CBTS’s full-service capabilities.
- Ensure delivery readiness and seamless handoff from sales to execution teams
- Performance & Growth Enablement
- Drive conversion of App Dev pursuits into signed deals through strategic influence
- Optimize delivery models to improve margins and reduce operational overhead
- Collaborate with sales and solution teams to anchor App Dev in multi-tower deals
- Client Success & Retention
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Monitor satisfaction metrics and proactively address delivery risks
- Foster long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and expanded scope
- Establish delivery governance standards and ensure consistent execution across SDE-led engagements.
Success Metrics
- Conversion rate of App Dev pursuits to signed deals
- Margin improvement through optimized delivery constructs
- Client satisfaction and retention scores
- Contribution to multi-tower deals anchored in App Dev
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in services delivery leadership within enterprise App Dev environments
- Deep understanding of modern application architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native, containerization)
- Fluency in offshore and hybrid delivery models, including global team coordination
- Strong consultative skills and ability to influence upstream decisions
- Familiarity with enterprise web development technologies (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving strategic change
