About the Role:
Business analyst in the Ferry Division Integrations Team will be responsible for understanding and translating the business requirements into functional requirements for the development team in line with agile methodology. He/she will work closely with the Product Owner to ensure that the requirements are aligned with the business objectives and are captured accurately as user stories or backlog items.

 

Key Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Helping the team to create PBIs with workable and testable acceptance criteria and refine them.

  • Working closely with business teams and developers on technical details of the solution.

  • Working as a business advisor primarily to support the product owner by analyzing, facilitating dialogue, and getting the correct information to make sure that the team understands the requirements and objectives.

  • Helping the team with testing the product backlog items, ensuring the quality for delivery.

  • Analyzing the gaps and impacts for features and objectives the team is or will be working on.

  • Testing and validating the integrations developed by the development team, ensuring the solution meets functional requirements and is ready for deployment.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different business areas.

  • This position may necessitate occasional travel.

 

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in a similar role.

  • Experience in working in a multinational setup, collaborating with international teams.

  • Proficient in English, strong verbal fluency is essential.

  • Experience in shipping and logistics industry and in system integrations projects is a plus.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field, engineering or computer science preferred.

  • Excellent analytical skills to understand complex business problems, identify patterns, and synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful insights.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, technical teams, and other business functions. The right candidate must communicate clearly, accurately, and concisely in both written and verbal form.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to be able to identify problems, analyze the root cause, and recommend solutions that meet the business needs.

  • Adaptability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments. The right candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities, timelines, and requirements.

  • Effective collaboration skills with other members of the team, including developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail to ensure that requirements are captured accurately, and potential issues or risks are identified early in the development process.

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and deliverables.
