About the role:
This is an integral role, based out of our data centre operations at Eastern Creek - the successful candidate will be essential in managing the day-to-day logistics, overseeing site maintenance, physical security, and facility presentation through a range of administrative and scheduling activities. Joining a dedicated facilities team, and alongside other facilities coordinators, you will work closely with CDC operations to deliver a superior customer experience and uphold secure, uninterrupted facility maintenance. This role involves overseeing a range of scheduling tasks and providing hands-on site support to ensure the continuous operation of our site.
- Ensure all facilities maintenance activities adhere to approved workplans, maintaining building compliance.
- Liaise and coordinate with contracted staff to ensure efficient and accurate works are completed, across a range of verticals (e.g. structural, plumbing, regular facilities).
- Ensure adherence to emergency and health and safety regulations, aligned to CDC policy.
- Manage logistics within the facility, collaborating with the operations team to enforce security protocols and standards.
- Conduct inspections for repairs or renovations of facility structures (such as lifts, pressure vessels, fire compliance, stormwater + plumbing), coordinating access for clients, guests, contractors, and suppliers accordingly.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices, ensure strong presentation and upkeep standards, representing the company professionally.

About you:
We are on the lookout for a candidate who is equally proactive and motivated, and ready to dive into a fast-paced, hands-on facilities environment. You'll play a vital part in shaping process, best practice, and culture from the ground up, being meticulous and tenacious in nature.
We’re especially keen to hear from those with experience in facilities or property management, particularly from within critical or large-scale environments, or possessing a strong track record in managing building compliance and safety obligations. Given the high levels of stakeholder engagement within this role, we are searching for an individual with strong rapport-building skills, who is eager to join a fast-growing, dynamic setting.
- Experience in scheduling or coordinating contractors and external vendors.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Confident in MS Office, and tech savvy in nature to pick up internal systems.
- Demonstrated experience in Property Management, Facilities Management, Office Management or Security Management.
- Confident communicator, with the ability to speak to stakeholders of varying seniority levels.
- Experience in identifying and managing building defects, with a strong understanding of compliance and rectification processes is highly desirable.
Essential:
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain, an NV1 Security Clearance
