Job Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Gameplay Designer (Enemies/NPC) to join our team and help us develop a new game in the Witcher Saga! You will play a crucial role in developing behaviors for our unique NPCs and enemies in order to provide our players with engaging, fun and challenging encounters and interactions. You will also act as a mentor and expert resource in all NPCs and enemies related matters. If you are ready to take on such a challenge, don’t hesitate and apply! :) 

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of NPCs, and enemies behavior subsystems.
  • Collaboration with designers, programmers and other project stakeholders to develop and refine mechanics that enhance player immersion and satisfaction.
  • Designing and prototyping unique enemy, NPC and character companions behaviors, reactions, abilities and weaknesses - both humans and monsters.
  • Iterating on behavior through playtesting and feedback, to create engaging and dynamic experiences.
  • Creation of clear and detailed documentation for AI subsystems.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, mentoring the team.
