The Senior HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing all core HR functions across the facility. This role oversees recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR operations. The Senior HR Manager partners with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, ensures compliance with labor laws, and fosters a positive and productive workplace culture.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR team in executing daily operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs in collaboration with finance and executive leadership.
  • Support leadership in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Lead internal audits and ensure readiness for external inspections or certifications.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
