Location: Onsite in Franklin, TN
Eligibility: At this time, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship now or in the future.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the VP of Creative, you will own the planning, coordination, and execution of charity: water’s creative projects. You’ll be the engine that keeps the creative team moving—ensuring every story we tell arrives on time, on budget, and at the highest quality. This role is equal parts operations and production: driving timelines, budgets, resourcing, and systems while also producing large-scale campaigns, shoots, and experiential moments. You’ll serve as the bridge between vision and execution, turning ambitious ideas into disciplined, scalable workflows.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…
● Leading project management for all creative initiatives—from intake to delivery—ensuring scope, timelines, and accountability are clear
● Overseeing budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and invoices to keep creative operations financially disciplined
● Managing internal and external creative contributors (designers, videographers, agencies, freelancers) to ensure seamless collaboration
● Building and maintaining systems for creative intake, approvals, asset management, and archival
● Translating strategy into clear briefs, roadmaps, and workflows across design, copy, video, and experiential projects
● Anticipating creative needs, flag risks early, and proactively solve bottlenecks
● Driving adoption of scalable templates, processes, and tools (Asana, Airtable, Notion, etc.) to improve efficiency
● Producing shoots, events, and large-scale campaigns, balancing creativity with operational excellence
● Tracking performance of creative assets in partnership with fundraising and marketing leads
● Fostering cross-functional collaboration with Fundraising, Marketing, Product, and Partnerships
YOU MUST HAVE…
● 5–7+ years in creative project management, production, or operations (agency, brand-side, or nonprofit).
● Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under shifting priorities.
● Strong financial literacy—confident in budget tracking, vendor negotiations, and contracts
● Fluency in project management and asset systems (Asana, Airtable, Notion, Jira, etc.)
● Ability to synthesize information, simplify communication flows, and present clearly to leadership
● A calm, solutions-focused mindset—able to keep complex projects on track with composure
● Experience with creative workflows across copy, design, and video
● Comfort balancing creative ambition with disciplined process
IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE…
● Agency or production house background with high-volume, fast-paced creative workflows
● Experience producing live shoots or experiential activations
● Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising campaigns or donor engagement
● PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications
YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IF...
You’re so organized, it’s embarrassing
You pay remarkable attention to the smallest details and have meticulous organizational skills. Your closet and kitchen drawers are a testament to this skill: when something doesn’t have a place, you make one for it and teach others to keep it that way. You can manage schedules, incoming inquiries, call logs and desk drawers.
You take initiative
You see something that needs improvement and you take action. You propose solutions to problems and research subjects that will help you do your job better. You’re proactive about making sure various departments have the information they need about your projects. You love gathering and serving up information from the field in a way that makes sense to the unique needs of the organization. You thrive in a fast paced environment with people that are constantly looking to innovate, enjoy challenges and demand excellence.
You have a team ethos and you love working with people
You thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced startup environment, with people who are passionate about their work and mission. You're excited to work cross-functionally with other departments and enjoy bringing people together to achieve a goal. People enjoy working with you because you stick to your word. Your greatest skill is establishing and cultivating strong relationships with all types of people. You find joy in mentoring team members so they can maximize their effectiveness.
You balance art and science
You thrive on bringing strong concepts to life in the marketplace, but know that the best ideas are founded in data-driven strategies and impact revenue growth. You stay true to brand strategy and know how to assess new opportunities to ensure they are aligned with our values and mission.
