WHAT YOU’LL DO. 

Video Editors at Chemistry bring the story home. 

As our next Video Editor, you’ll help turn great ideas into finished work across broadcast, social, documentary-style content, and everything in between. You understand that editing is more than cutting footage — it’s shaping emotion, rhythm, and story to match the creative vision. 

You’re technically sharp. Creatively curious. And ready to grow your reel. 

On any given day, you will: 

Edit & Execute 

• Edit video content across multiple formats including broadcast, social, and branded content. 

• Take scripts and creative direction and bring edits to life independently. 

• Execute basic audio mixing and sound clean-up. 

• Apply basic color correction and finishing passes. 

• Deliver high-quality edits under tight timelines. 

Collaboration & Workflow 

• Partner closely with Creative teams and Producers to refine storytelling. 

• Receive and implement constructive feedback with professionalism and speed. 

• Manage multiple edits simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

• Maintain organized project files and efficient workflows. 

You don’t just assemble footage. You craft the final product. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR. 

Science tells us that the most effective Video Editors (and ideal candidates for this role) bring a blend of technical fluency, creative instincts, and collaborative energy: 

• Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (required). 

• Proven experience editing under tight timelines. 

• Ability to handle basic audio mixing and color correction. 

• Strong storytelling instincts and creative imagination. 

• Comfort working both independently and within a small team environment. 

• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback. 

• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once. 

• Passion for impactful creative and desire to grow professionally. 
• The knowledge and instincts typically built through a combination of education/formal training and 1–3 years of editing experience.
