SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on HVAC & Facilities Technician to support both specialized HVAC systems and general facility maintenance across our factory. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, efficient, and fully operational production environment by combining HVAC expertise with broad handyman capabilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
HVAC Systems:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems throughout the facility
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to airflow, temperature control, and system performance
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Monitor system performance and recommend efficiency improvements
General Maintenance / Handyman Work:
- Perform general repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and setup
- Support small construction projects and facility layout changes
- Handle day-to-day maintenance needs across departments
Facilities Support:
- Conduct routine inspections and proactively identify issues
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Partner with the Head of Construction & Maintenance on ongoing projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven HVAC experience (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Strong general handyman / maintenance skillset across multiple trades
- Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical systems and facility issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- EPA certification (or equivalent)
- Experience in manufacturing or factory environments
- Familiarity with building systems or facility operations
