SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Barista is primarily responsible for providing guests with an enjoyable, expertly served beverage experience following Chrome Hearts standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness. The Barista develops a complete working knowledge of all hot and cold products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, served by the bar. They ensure proper pouring, mixing, and blending of drinks in accordance with all health and safety regulations. We are looking for hospitality-focused people who also love executing their work with accuracy and care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greeting customers and taking orders.
- Prepare and serve customers alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.
- Maintain Stock/Preparing stock needed such as house made syrups and cold brewed coffee
- Ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain high quality and consistent product standards.
- Effectively completing opening and closing duties.
- Keep the bar area clean.
- Be a positive role model always representing the brand.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with Management Team, Peers, and other Chrome Hearts Store Teams.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines/regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate or GED preferred.
- Prior coffee making/service experience required.
- Completed courses in food safety and sanitation preferred.
- Certified training by NY State Liquor Authority preferred
- Strong drive for results; goal oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Strong team player.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.
- Flexible availability to include working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
