SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our dynamic Wood Shop Department, contributing to the creation of high-end, handcrafted furniture and products. As an Upholsterer at Chrome Hearts, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless execution of upholstery work, bringing our designs to life with precision and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Upholstery Expertise: Execute upholstery work on a variety of wooden furniture pieces, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Material Selection: Collaborate with the design team to select and source premium upholstery materials that align with Chrome Hearts' commitment to excellence and luxury.
• Precision Craftsmanship: Uphold the brand's reputation for precision and attention to detail by meticulously upholstering products to meet or exceed established standards.
• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with fellow artisans, carpenters, and designers within the Wood Shop Department to ensure seamless integration of upholstery with woodwork in the manufacturing process.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain the integrity of Chrome Hearts' products, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies during the upholstery process.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques, contributing ideas for process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the overall production workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as an Upholsterer, preferably in a high-end or luxury furniture manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of various upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering impeccable craftsmanship.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of artisans and designers.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for luxury craftsmanship and a keen understanding of Chrome Hearts' design aesthetic.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Prolonged Standing: Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time during work shifts.
• Variation in Activities: May involve some sitting and walking throughout the workday.
• Repetitive Physical Motions: Expected to repeat various physical motions during the shift, utilizing feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Operation of Equipment: Operating a variety of equipment and hand tools in a repetitive manner, requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention.
• Lifting: Capable of carrying and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed

The pay range for this role is:

22.50 - 25.25/hr USD per hour depending on level of experience
