We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Technical Manager/Owner to join our product team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and documenting key requirements for scalable and robust cloud-native software solutions. You will serve as a bridge between the product and development teams, playing a vital role in the modernization of a large-scale messaging platform for a global leader in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business partners who may have technical knowledge to identify their needs and articulate technical solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts in business terms to ensure alignment.
- Support the development and optimization of back-end systems and services, ensuring they meet the defined business requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and functional designs.
- Assist in coaching and mentoring team members on relevant technical products and support the overall project management lifecycle.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather technical business needs and convert them into actionable technical plans.
- Document product features, business processes, workflows, and operational manuals with a focus on standardization, compliance, security, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Azure DevOPS or similar tools
Requirements:
- Fluent communication in English to effectively engage with clients and business stakeholders.
- Strong technical background, with the ability to understand, analyze, and convey complex technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders and also to the technical teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum principles.
- Exceptional documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A consultative and proactive mindset, with the ability to lead technical discussions and drive informed decision-making.
- Comfort using or a willingness to learn technical tools that enhance productivity and collaboration across teams.
- Experience with projects involving back-end development, APIs, and microservices and event driven architecture.
- Skilled in maintaining and refining the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the current priorities of the organization and addresses user needs
