Civil Design Technologist

We are looking for a Civil Design Technologist to join and grow with our dynamic, expanding Transportation team in Saskatchewan.  You will work closely with our local team of professionals, in a variety of functions, delivering projects including municipal infrastructure, roadway and drainage and highway designs and for our public and private sector clients in Calgary.  

Primary Responsibilities 

• Work closely with project engineers and senior technical staff in carrying out and reporting on technical tasks requiring data collection, accuracy in calculations, completeness of data and adherence to prescribed standards and methods 
• Participate in the technical design, of urban and rural roadways and highways, resource roadways, among other specific projects. 
• Create and modify figures, drawings and detailed design plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software 
• Assist in the development of 3D models & calculations.   
• Ensure drafting standards meet current design and Client standards, guidelines and other requirements.
