Job Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

  • 3rd shift - 11pm -7am or 10:30pm - 6:30am
  • Perform a variety of inspections to check the quality and accuracy of parts and record in the appropriate systems as needed.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Per Assembly Checklists:
  • Visual Inspection for paint (excess/shy)
  • Count of ladder clips
  • Count of zip ties
  • Verify presence of dust caps/covers
  • Verification of plug placement (insertion)
  • Verify no foreign debris on unit
  • Visual inspection for rust
  • Visual inspection for bolt presence and torque
  • Visual inspection of yolk position
  • Visual inspection for presence of snap rings
  • Visual inspection for part/arrangement number
  • Visual inspection for serial prefix and tags match
  • Visual inspection of packaging
  • Verify count of parts in kits (ensure correct part #’s)
  • Verify no debris in hole (axles)
  • Record findings into digital BIQ
  • Enter defect information into AQE
  • Frequency – range of 5 to 30 parts checked per shift per person


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma and 2 years in Manufacturing environment
