JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

We are seeking a strategic and technically strong Global Head of Product Engineering & Simulation to lead the growth and global delivery of advanced product engineering services.

This executive leadership role owns the full P&L of the Product Engineering vertical and will oversee global teams delivering product design, engineering analysis, and digital simulation services.

The role focuses on helping customers accelerate product development through advanced engineering tools, simulation technologies, and digital engineering capabilities.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

·        Develop and execute the global strategy for Product Engineering & Simulation vertical.

·        Identify market expansion opportunities across India, EU, and USA.

·        Drive innovation in manufacturing processes, digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, automation, and lean transformation.

·        Align vertical objectives with overall company growth and profitability goals.


P&L Ownership

·        Own and manage full profit and loss accountability for the vertical.

·        Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost optimization.

·        Build and manage annual budgets, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.


Global Customer Management

 ·        Build and maintain executive-level relationships with international customers.

·        Lead commercial discussions including proposals, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.

·        Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership development.


Global Delivery & Operations

·        Lead large, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.

·        Ensure high-quality project delivery, on-time execution, and operational efficiency.

·        Establish best practices in product engineering processes and delivery frameworks.

·        Drive performance metrics, utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Technical Leadership

·        Provide subject matter expertise in:

o   End-to-End Product Engineering/Full product lifecycle management

o   Advanced Simulation & CAE Expertise

o   Model-Based Systems Engineering

o   Product Architecture & Systems Integration

o   Validation, Testing & Verification

o   Engineering Tools & Digital Ecosystem

o   Materials & Manufacturing Science

o   Safety, Compliance & Regulatory Engineering

o   Optimization & Advanced Engineering Methods

o   Innovation & Emerging Engineering Technologies


Technical Leadership & Talent Development

·        Build, mentor, and retain high-performing global teams.

·        Strengthen leadership bench strength within the vertical.

·        Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence.


Travel

·  Domestic and international travel is required to support customers and global teams.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· Master’s degree+ Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field


·  15–20 years of experience in one or more of the following industries (mandatory):

o   Heavy engineering

o   Earth moving equipment

o   Automotive

o   Industrial equipment


·  Leadership Competencies:

o   Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset

o   Strong commercial acumen

o   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

o   Ability to operate in a global matrix organization

o   High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness

 

·        Proven experience managing large, multi-location engineering teams

·        Demonstrated P&L or revenue responsibility

·        Strong executive presence and leadership maturity
