JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Receive client request and document as-received
- Enter work order and work with technicians to complete work
- Create report with appropriate conclusions
- Validate with senior staff
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing metallurgical support to multiple clients by performing failure and metallurgical analysis, interacting with metallurgical technicians, updating standard work, and participating on continuous improvement projects.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Years of experience: 0-2 years
- Degree requirement: BS in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering from accredited university – ONLY THESE SPECIFC degree’s
- NO 2 year degrees
- Open to Master’s - only the listed degrees
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Failure analysis
- Ferrous metallurgy
- Microscopy
