Controls Engineer 2

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Software schedule management
• Rapid prototyping aftertreatment control software to support lab demonstrations
• Assist in selecting control strategies
• Testing of new system components (sensors, pumps etc)
• Executing cosimulations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Helping to define control strategies for performance of the aftertreatment system. Support testing and component selection with rapid prototyping control software to support lab testing (bench, HIL and full engine/aftertreatment systems)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 2-4 years
• Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related curriculum

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Controls experience
• Simulink experience
• Proficiency in Canape
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong understanding of engine and aftertreatment systems.
• Ability to draw conclusions from analysis and make decision
