Job Overview

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to read drawings and interpret GD&Ts
  • Laser and press brake knowledge is added advantage 
  • Identify and support any design for manufacturability issues
  • Root cause analysis and solution to DFM issues
  • Involved in NPI and current product discussions and provide inputs
  • Identify waste or noise in the process and find ways to eliminate or reduce
  • Able to communicate and write in English
  • Tolerance stack up analysis when required
  • Understand CMM reports
  • Some experience with 3D modelling software
  • Work with suppliers


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree/associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering
  • 2+ years of design or manufacturing engineer experience.


REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Sheetmetal forming
  • Manufacturing
  • PFME
  • Standard Work creation
  • Any CAD software (preferred: Creo & Autocad)
