JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Leading cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions on current-product 3500 marine engines
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- L4/L5 System integration tasks to solve problems for a technology, component, product, and/or processes
- Lead CPI projects and facilitate relevant L3-led CPI projects
- Complete projects within time, cost, and quality constraints
- Work cost-value tradeoffs with our internal customers and process partners
- Significant collaboration with 3500 Marine Product Definition and A&I partners
- Significant collaboration with our performance, system & controls, component engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and quality process partners
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Years of experience: 2 years (could be internships)
- Degree requirement: Yes, Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum
- Must be local to Lafayette, Indiana area
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Prior Internship experience
- Ability to collect and efficiently organize detailed information.
- The ability to work or lead multiple projects simultaneously and to make sound priority decisions
- Component design, engine performance and/or engine platform experience.
- CPI and NPI project experience.
- Diesel or Gas engine system knowledge
