JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• The primary role is to research, design, and evaluate the functionality, performance, and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting research and feasibility studies on mechanical systems and components.
• Designing and developing mechanical products and equipment.
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Reading, interpreting, and applying information from blueprints and schematics.
• Overseeing installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues to improve performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions into larger systems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 1–4 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science field (Engineering preferred); Associate degree considered with experience
• Internship experience accepted

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• CAD software (PTC Creo preferred)
• Basic GD&T knowledge
• Strong communication and problem-solving mindset
• Required: Basic drawing layouts

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Teamcenter software, ASME standards
