Street Repair Supervisor II - Facilities - SFO (7282) - 159486

Under general direction, the 7282 Street Repair Supervisor II is a second-level supervisor responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and city structures (steps, guard rails, retaining walls, etc.) using asphalt, concrete and other materials.

You are excited about this opportunity because you will::

1. Plan, assign, monitor, and evaluate the work of subordinates engaged in the construction, repair, and maintenance of asphalt and concrete runways, streets, sidewalks, curbs and structures (steps, guard rails, retaining walls, etc.).
2. Inspect work in progress for conformance with plans, work orders, FAA, established procedures and safe working conditions in accordance to Cal OSHA.
3. Supervise emergency repair work in cases involving underground utility failure, road surface failures, security fencing breaches and other critical infrastructure.
4. Prepare requisitions for materials, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repair activities
5. Prepare reports and records on employees’ time, materials expended, periodic reports, and performance evaluations
6. Make recommendations for budget regarding equipment and materials needed for assigned sector.
7. Assist in the development and advancement of subordinates through training and effective use of employee development programs
8. Drive to meetings and to work sites for inspections
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
