What You’ll Be Doing
You will:
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at service desks
- Issue and discharge library materials and manage circulation tasks
- Shelve, shelf‑check and maintain tidy library spaces
- Assist with library opening and closing procedures
- Process memberships, stock queries, lost property and records
- Support inter‑library loans and stock distribution
- Assist with accounts, payments and basic financial processing
- Respond to enquiries in person, by phone and email
- Support customers with computers, devices and eResources
- Help prepare displays and maintain community notice boards
- Assist Librarians with reference, information and community services
- Contribute to projects and service improvements across libraries
