What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing rates, receivables, and property administration, including valuations, interim rating, ownership changes, concessions, rebates, and pensioner applications.
• Financial administration skills, including raising accounts, processing payments, refunds, credits, direct debits, and credit card transactions.
• Managing debtor accounts, debt recovery processes, settlement enquiries, and legal recovery process through Magistrates Court
• Administering waste management services, including commercial and on‑demand waste, bins, bulk runs, and associated billing
• Managing underground power accounts, instalment notices, interim ratings, and annual charges.
• High level of accuracy in data entry, record maintenance, data integrity checks, and system‑based processing, including use of external customer portals
• Work collaboratively within a team, provide back‑up support to other officers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service by managing and resolving a high volume of enquiries, balancing competing priorities, and ensuring service requests are completed within agreed timeframes
