This is a hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Bengaluru, India office as needed. Candidates must be based in India.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
At Clari + Salesloft, our Software Engineer will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing team in India. As a backend engineer, you'll work to build scalable applications designed to service millions of mobile and web-based information workers. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and others in a cross-functional environment on multiple projects, from the concept phase through testing, launch, and ongoing operations. We are looking for engineers that are passionate about developing applications that customers love.

Responsibilities:
- On a day-to-day basis, you will -
- Own the design/development / improvement of products and features
- Own the responsibility for creating a great user experience on the products and features you work on
- Work closely with Product Managers, Architects and Leads to drive innovation that will shape the future roadmap
- Participate in large scale design updates and rollouts
- Partner with Infrastructure Engineers to scale the product
- Investigate state of the art frameworks and tooling to build our next generation architecture
- Help improve our code quality through writing modular and reusable code, unit tests, automation and performing code review

Skill Set:
- 2+ years of experience in design and developing high-quality, efficient, and scalable software solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications
- Tech Stack: Java or a similar object-oriented language
- Experience developing data-driven applications and up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in application development, including RESTful and Amazon AWS ecosystem
- Experience in frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
- Experience in database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Trino
- Familiarity with messaging technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Previous start-up experience is a plus
- Familiarity with JavaScript and other web technologies such as React
