Position Overview

The Salesforce Developer with 6+ years of experience is a pivotal role within our organisation, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and customization techniques. The Salesforce Developer collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality Salesforce implementations. Open for full-time as well as contract roles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using declarative features such as Process Builder, Workflows, and Validation Rules.
  • Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other custom solutions to extend Salesforce functionality.
  • Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware platforms.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other developers to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues within Salesforce applications, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend best practices and optimizations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Document technical specifications, design decisions, and implementation details.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.


Requirements:

  • Total Salesforce development experience of 6+ years working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques
  • Strong experience in writing code in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning (Aura & Web) as per Salesforce Best Practices (MUST)
  • Decent knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript
  • Experience working on Salesforce Cloud offerings like – Community Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
  • In-depth experience of using Process Builders and Flows
  • Strong experience in Salesforce Declarative skills
  • Decent experience working on Salesforce Integration
  • Omnistudio and Public Sector Solutions' experience is an advantage
  • Salesforce Certifications are mandatory (PD1 and PD2)


Location: Mississauga, Canada (Open to Contractual and Full-time)
