iCATs Painter

We are looking for a skilled ICAT Painter to join our wind-turbine maintenance and blade-repair team. You'll be responsible for painting, coating, and surface-finishing turbine blades and related components, ensuring high quality, long-lasting results that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply protective and finishing coatings to turbine blades, nacelle, tower or other structural components using appropriate ICAT / industrial painting methods.

• Carry out surface preparation, cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming before coating.

• Follow technical specifications, work packs and coating procedures to ensure proper adhesion, coverage and finish.

• Collaborate with blade-repair and inspection teams to coordinate painting/coating tasks and timings properly within repair/refurb workflows.

• Maintain safety and quality on site - ensure correct PPE, follow safety protocols, and document paint/coating works and inspections.

Qualifications:

• Valid ICAT / ICATS (Industrial Coating Applicator) certification

• GWO Basic Safety Training

• Safety Passport

• ACTSAFE (desirable)

• OGUK and Chester Step or RUK Medical
