About your new role:
The Vendor Data Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining the quality, integrity and reliability of our vendor information and data. This role will be responsible for owning the management of vendor records by proactively gathering updated details from vendors and ensuring our systems are consistently accurate, complete, and up to date. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organization, clear communication, diligent follow-through and recent telecom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all vendor records across internal systems.
- Proactively pursue, verify, and update vendor data through direct communication with vendors via email, phone calls, and vendor portals.
- Identify and resolve missing or outdated vendor information through direct engagement with telecom vendors.
- Conduct systematic audits of vendor records to maintain data integrity across all systems.
- Partner with vendors to proactively correct data gaps and discrepancies as they arise.
- Collaborate with vendor managers to ensure vendor records remain current and reliable.
- Support ongoing data audits, clean-up projects, and data quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain process documentation, update workflows, and process guidelines to ensure consistency in vendor data management.
What you'll need for success:
- Experience in vendor management, project management preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to manage a high volume of information updates while maintaining precision.
- Proactive approach — takes ownership to identify and resolve data gaps.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Comfortable communicating directly with vendors to collect or verify information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel functions (filters, sorting, lookups, basic formulas).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Telecommunications industry experience nice to have.
