Testbench Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, validating, and troubleshooting ASIC miner hashboards and related components using diagnostic tools and testbenches
• Operate and maintain testbench equipment and ensure accurate, consistent testing conditions
• Log and document test results, error codes, and performance data in spreadsheets or internal systems
• Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting on cryptocurrency mining servers under supervision (configurations, bolt-ons, replacing control boards, fans, PSUs, etc.)
• Support engineering and QA teams by providing feedback on recurring issues or test anomalies
• Follow established testing procedures, safety protocols, and OSHA/ESD handling practices
• Maintain a clean and organized test environment
• Assist with firmware flashing, EEPROM reading, and chain diagnostics
• Identify and segregate good, marginal, and failed units based on test results
• Use data tools such as Excel and Google Sheets for logging, analyzing, and reporting data
• Create and use formulas, filters, and conditional formatting to track trends and issues
• Cross-reference test data across multiple spreadsheets or systems
• Continuously improve workflow efficiency and testing processes

Qualifications

• Adept at using spreadsheet and data management tools such as Excel and Google Sheets
• Skilled in PC hardware and software troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance
• Ability to lift heavy objects (frequently 50 lbs or more)
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Physical stamina – standing/walking for long periods, bending, lifting, etc.
• Reliability and punctuality

 Preferred Skills and Experience

• Understanding of electronics principles (voltage, current, resistance, continuity)
• Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Time management and organization

Location: Denver, Colorado (on-site)

Pay rate: $23.00 per hour
