As the Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our discerning guests, showcasing the vibrant flavours and healthy ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine.
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation
- Develop and implement innovative Mediterranean-inspired menus, incorporating local and seasonal ingredients
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and minimise waste while maintaining quality
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the resort
- Step in for the Head Chef when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills
