We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis to join our culinary team at the luxurious Constance Moofushi resort in the Maldives. As a Commis, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests in this tropical paradise.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to our high-quality standards and recipes
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including mise-en-place and food production
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and utensils
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures as per HACCP standards
- Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage of food items
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across all kitchen sections to ensure efficient service
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries in compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Help with daily stock rotation and report any shortages or quality issues to superiors
- Communicate clearly with team members and report any operational issues promptly
- Take pride in presentation, taste, and portion accuracy to uphold our resort's culinary standards
