Night Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Manager to join our team at Constance Belle Mare Beach, a luxurious resort located in Mauritius. As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations during night shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.
Operational Management
- Oversee all resort operations during the night shift, ensuring continuity of service across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and F&B.
- Act as Manager on Duty, taking decisions and resolving operational issues.
- Conduct regular night rounds of guest areas, back-of-house, and staff facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and service standards are maintained.
- Coordinate closely with Security to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and resort assets.
Guest Relations & Service Excellence
- Handle late check-ins, early check-outs, VIP arrivals, guest complaints, and emergencies with professionalism and discretion.
- Ensure all guest interactions reflect the luxury service standards of Constance Hotels & Resorts.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Record and follow up on guest incidents, complaints, and special requests for handover to the day Management team.
Team Leadership & HR Responsibilities
- Supervise night shift staff across departments, ensuring attendance, discipline, and adherence to company policies.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job support to night team members.
- Ensure staff compliance with grooming, conduct, health & safety, and SOP requirements.
- Prepare shift reports and ensure effective handover to morning Management.
Health, Safety & Emergency Response
- Act as the first point of contact during emergencies (medical incidents, fire alarms, power failures, guest disturbances, etc.).
- Ensure emergency procedures are followed and documented accurately.
- Liaise with external authorities when required, in line with company protocols.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare comprehensive nightly reports covering operations, incidents, guest feedback, and audit summaries.
- Ensure accurate logbook entries and follow-up actions are clearly communicated.
- Support internal audits and compliance requirements as needed.
