The Hotel Manager is the overall business leader of C Rodrigues Mourouk, with full responsibility for hotel operations, guest experience, team engagement, and financial performance.

The Hotel Manager is responsible for bringing this spirit to life on a daily basis, ensuring that the Cignature experiences are consistently delivered and that Citizens of C feel empowered to create genuine, memorable moments for guests.

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include but not limited to the following areas and activities.  At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work & junior to the overall objectives of the position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Property Management

  • Lead daily operations while fully embodying the C Resorts lifestyle and brand philosophy.
  • Ensure C Resorts standards are applied with authenticity, simplicity and consistency.
  • Translate group objectives into clear, practical and agile operational actions.
  • Maintain a safe, well-kept and welcoming environment aligned with the Nature’s Playground spirit.
  • Encourage creativity, flexibility and continuous improvement across operations.

Guest Experience & Cignatures

  • Ensure the consistent delivery and evolution of “Cignature” experiences, creating moments of freedom, play and connection with nature.
  • Be highly visible and approachable, fostering natural and relaxed interactions with guests.
  • Act as the main guest advocate, resolving issues in a positive and human way.
  • Use guest feedback to continuously enhance experience quality, atmosphere and service style.
  • Create a culture where guest experience goes beyond service, focusing on emotion and memories.

People & Citizens of C

  • Build, lead and develop an engaged community of Citizens of C.
  • Promote a people-first, inclusive and empowering work culture.
  • Encourage versatility, initiative and ownership at all levels.
  • Support talent development, internal mobility and local career growth.
  • Maintain open communication and strong proximity with teams on the floor.

Sales, Revenue & Destination Promotion

  • Support sales and revenue strategies aligned with the lifestyle positioning of C Mourouk.
  • Monitor market trends, demand patterns and the competitive set.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Act as an ambassador for C Resorts and Rodrigues, building partnerships with local stakeholders and communities.
  • Contribute to positioning Rodrigues as an active, outdoor and authentic island destination.

Financial Management

  • Manage hotel financial performance in line with budget and forecasts.
  • Control costs while preserving experience quality and team engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and long-term value.
  • Promote responsible and sustainable use of resources.
