Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a talented and creative Sous Chef- Pastry to join our culinary team. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to create exquisite desserts and pastries that delight our discerning guests.
- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in managing daily operations of the pastry kitchen
- Develop and execute innovative pastry menus for various outlets within the resort
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Manage inventory, control costs, and minimise waste
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest expectations and dietary requirements
- Participate in menu planning and development of new pastry concepts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pastry trends and techniques
