Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie-Bakery to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exquisite bakery and pastry items that delight our discerning guests and contribute to our world-class dining experience.
- Prepare a wide range of high-quality bakery and pastry items, including bread, cakes, pastries, and desserts
- Ensure consistency in product quality and presentation across all bakery offerings
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Manage and organise the bakery section, including inventory control and stock rotation
- Train and supervise junior staff in bakery techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef and other culinary team members to develop new recipes and menu items
- Assist in menu planning and costing for bakery items
- Participate in special events and themed culinary experiences
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adapt to the unique challenges and opportunities of working in a tropical island resort
