Chef De Partie

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at Constance Lemuria, Seychelles. In this pivotal role, you will lead a specific section of our kitchen, demonstrating exceptional culinary expertise while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. You will work collaboratively with our Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver outstanding dining experiences that exceed our guests' expectations in this exclusive island resort setting.

• Oversee and manage your assigned kitchen station, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to established recipes, photos, and quality standards
• Prepare food items as per orders from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, maintaining consistency and excellence in every plate
• Train and mentor subordinate kitchen staff in their daily duties, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation standards at your workstation and throughout the kitchen, covering all dishes with appropriate protective materials before storage
• Ensure all mise en place (M.E.P) is completed before service and properly stored in designated areas with proper covering to prevent contamination
• Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies for your station, reporting any shortages or issues promptly
• Assist with breakfast preparation and coordinate with other kitchen departments as needed
• Inspect and maintain all equipment and tools at your station, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Chef's office
• Implement innovative cooking techniques and stay current with the latest culinary trends and best practices
• Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards and adhering to all safety protocols
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready for the next service at the end of each shift
• Support other kitchen staff and departments when requested, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational excellence
