Room Service Supervisor

Job Overview

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.

Organization:

  • Work closely with the Room Service Manager to ensure and maintain quality standard of service.
  • Continuously aware of the food being served, consult with the Chef on any deviation.
  • Check safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the Room Service area.
  • Look after arrangement of group, VIP or special attention guests.
  • Handle guest comments or other feedback, inform and discuss with the Room Service Manager for improvement.
  • Assist the Room Service Manager for the training and development of the Room Service Staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and maintain good attitude, discipline and grooming of staff
  • In coordination with the Room Service Manager, handle staff and counsel them according to procedures and policies.
  • Assist the Room Service Manager in administration duties.
  • Attend and coordinate briefing, meeting and training sessions.
  • Initiate any other appropriated responsibility that may be assigned by the management.
  • Responsible for inventory and maintenance of cutlery, crockery equipment etc.
