We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional GYM Instructor/Activities Coordinator to join Fitness and Recreation team at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. This position offering the opportunity to deliver exceptional fitness and recreational experiences to our guests in a stunning resort environment. The successful candidate will combine fitness expertise with outstanding customer service, creating engaging wellness programmes and coordinating activities that enhance our guests' stay.

  • Deliver high-quality fitness classes including group sessions such as aerobics and circuit training to guests of varying fitness levels
  • Provide personalised fitness instruction and guidance to guests, conducting fitness assessments and developing tailored workout programmes
  • Coordinate and schedule all gym and recreational activities, ensuring optimal utilisation of facilities and equipment
  • Maintain gym equipment in excellent working condition, performing routine checks and reporting maintenance requirements promptly
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, promoting wellness programmes and encouraging participation in activities
  • Develop and implement innovative fitness and wellness initiatives that align with resort standards and guest preferences
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to within the gym and activity areas
  • Maintain accurate records of guest participation, fitness progress, and activity bookings
  • Collaborate with other resort departments to integrate wellness activities into the overall guest experience
  • Provide induction and guidance to new team members and guests using gym facilities
  • Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction regarding fitness classes and recreational activities, implementing improvements based on suggestions
  • Manage activity budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective delivery of wellness programmes
  • Respond promptly to guest enquiries and concerns, providing professional support and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Promote wellness initiatives through effective communication and marketing strategies to encourage guest participation and engagement
