Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Location: Indonesia

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, outcome-focused HR team, supporting payroll and benefits administration across ASEAN, Japan, India, and ANZ. This role is critical to ensuring payroll and benefits data is managed accurately, efficiently, and on time across multiple countries and payroll calendars.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on, detail-oriented self-starter who is comfortable managing a high volume of work, balancing competing priorities, and maintaining strong documentation and process discipline. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert and point of contact for employee benefits matters, manages vendor relationships, and provides practical, data-driven recommendations to HR.

The role will also be cross-trained in payroll and act as a backup to the Payroll Lead for the same employee population, reporting directly to the Payroll Lead.

The Role

Coordinate the administration of payroll and benefits information for dss+ employees across ASEAN, Japan, India, and ANZ, including but not limited to:

· Work closely with external payroll providers to communicate and consolidate payroll changes, ensuring data is processed accurately and queries are resolved within each country’s payroll calendar

· Administer employee benefits and ensure all benefits data is accurately maintained and updated with payroll providers on a timely basis

· Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits queries, liaising with employees, third-party administrators, and vendors to resolve issues effectively

· Ensure payroll, employment tax, and benefits administration activities are carried out in compliance with local country requirements

· Maintain accurate records, documentation, trackers, and audit-ready files for payroll and benefits processes

· Support payroll and benefits audits, reporting, and reconciliations as required

· Manage vendor relationships effectively and help monitor service quality, timeliness, and accuracy

· Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardise documentation, and enhance the employee experience

· Partner with HR and the business to support efficient, compliant, and employee-focused payroll and benefits delivery

· Provide backup support to the Payroll Lead across the relevant employee population
